FOCUS-BUSINESS präsentiert: Liebich & Partner gehört zu Deutschlands Top Beratern 2022

WomenCorporateDirectors (WCD), Argentine Chapter, honored outstanding women in business for the fifth year, at a virtual event held in the offices of LA NACION, bringing together the most influential female executives in the country. The absence of women in decision-making roles in companies has been on the agenda of most companies and society for years. In order to recognize those who have reached the top and are paving the way for those who follow WCD Argentine Chapter recognized three women with special awards. The 2021 awards were for “Recognition for Outstanding Woman in Business”, “Special Mention for Work in Gender Equity” and “Special Mention for Revelation in Innovation”.
The “Special Mention for Work in Gender Equity” award went to Cristina Bomchil, founding partner and CEO of Valuar and long-standing member of the Agilium Worldwide international network of executive search companies. Cristina has worked hard for many years to include women in her shortlists for top management and board member positions, and in the search for talent she has always kept the WCD base in mind.
After receiving the prize Cristina commented: “Every day we at WCD promote actions to recognize women and help them overcome the obstacles they face in reaching top management and board member positions.” She also encouraged company owners to genuinely embrace the value of diversity and continously work on their unconscious biased. She proposed that investors advocate mixed boards so that sooner rather than later we will have a society with fairer, more equitable and inclusive companies.
The other two awards went to Alexia Rosenthal, Partner & President of the Executive Committee of Tanoira Cassagne Abogados, (Special Mention for Revelation in Innovation) and Cecilia Giordano, President & CEO of Mercer Argentina, Uruguay & Paraguay (Recognition for Outstanding Woman in Business).
